What is Snowy doing in SPAIN?

For those who don’t already know it, Snowy has been travelling around Spain with his family for almost 4 months now. The purpose of this trip was, from the start, mainly educational for him. ‘The idea was to further my culinary education and glean new ideas by working with Spains best chefs for 4 months. I am particularly interested in food with fire and this is what I’m learning all over Spain’.

In June, Steven had the opportunity to cook alongside with Ricardo Sanz, owner of Kabuki (Michelin Starred Japanese fusion restaurant) for a very special lunch celebrating the best food and wine in Spain. The event was hosted by Snowy’s long time friend, Telmo Rodríguez in his family winery, Remelluri. Amongst the guests was Maria Jose Lopez de Heredia from the 142 year old Vina Tondonia (winery) family in Rioja and current wine maker. She brought amazing old wines to share over lunch.

Passionate chefs, stellar wineries and select guests, what else do you really need?

Snowy & Ricardo Sanz delighted guests’ taste buds with a succession of creative dishes.
